OSPS AND
SPRING HILL
HISTORIC HOME

The OSPS team
volunteers at
Spring Hill Historic
Home and
landmark.  Built
in 1891 by
Thomas and
Charity Rotch,
these Quakers
from New England
used their home
as a safe haven
for slaves
escaping to
freedom to the
north. No slave
was ever
captured here
and Spring Hill is
recognized as a
part of the Ohio
Underground
Railroad.
